From the establishment of the holding company Triglav INT (from here on: Triglav INT) in 2010 to the beginning of February 2012, Zavarovalnica Triglav transferred its ownership shares in Triglav Group insurance subsidiaries outside Slovenia to Triglav INT.

Triglav INT`s sole shareholder is Triglav Zavarovalnica Triglav. The companies of the Triglav INT Group operate in six markets and five countries: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia.

As of 1 October 2014, a new governance and management system of subsidiaries operating outside Slovenia has been established. The role of Triglav INT was upgraded to a more active role as management/insurance competence centre for insurance subsidiaries of the Triglav INT Group in individual regional markets. The Triglav INT Group management functions were centralised, making Triglav INT fully responsible for the governance and management of insurance subsidiaries outside Slovenia. Triglav INT is comprised of a group of promising and highly qualified employees who are prepared to participate in multicultural dialogue and who are responsible for the implementation of the Triglav INT Group's strategic guidelines in target regional markets.

The objectives of Triglav INT are mainly to increase the profitability of operations and consequently the value of the Triglav INT Group; to consistently apply a client-oriented approach; to provide for an appropriate staffing structure; to achieve adequate growth and profitability in key markets and to effectively manage the Triglav INT Group companies.
